A featured exhibit on an individual Scott family member, a particular Scott family business, or a unique aspect of the family is displayed in the Collection gallery twice a year. These exhibits help to educate students, staff, faculty, and the public about the Scott family and provide an opportunity for visitors to return to the collection and learn more about the permanent displays. An opening reception and special opening day activities are a part of each featured exhibit. Refer to Special Events for exhibit schedules.
For several generations, beginning in the mid 1880's with Robert W. Scott, the Scott family has owned a single Jersey cow or built up herds of purebred Jerseys. The Scott Family Collection's current Featured Exhibit celebrates the Jersey cow and its significance to the Scott family. We invite you to visit The Scott Family Collection during this limited-time exhibition to have the opportunity to learn more about the Scott family's link to the Jersey cow.
